The Ekati website: everything you can do without an account

Courses, schools, admissions, prices and news — the public side of Ekati, for learners, parents and schools.

This is the guide to the Ekati website: the pages anyone can open without creating an account. It is where courses are browsed and bought, where a school publishes its profile and its admissions, where the price list is shown, and where the platform posts its news. If you are a learner looking for lessons, a parent looking for a place, or a school putting itself online for the first time, everything you need starts on this site.

Three things are worth knowing before you start. You can look at everything before you commit to anything. The course catalogue, every course page, every school profile and the full price list are open to anyone — no account, no password. An account is only needed to buy. Signing in, or creating an account in a minute, unlocks checkout, your course library and your learner dashboard. Applying to a school needs no account at all. The application form asks for your name and how to reach you, then hands you an applicant ID that you use to follow your file.

The rest of this section is a map. Read the page that matches what you came to do, in any order.

Every part of the Ekati website

Twelve pages, and each one answers a different question.

Three journeys through the website

Almost everyone arrives with one of these three questions.

I want to learn something

Start at the catalogue. Search for a subject, filter to the level that matches you or your child, and open a course page to read the outline before you spend anything. When you are ready, put it in your basket and pay by Mobile Money — or enrol straight away if the course is free. Your own courses live behind your account once you are signed in, and the learner guide explains how to work through them.

I want a place for my child in a school

Start at a school profile. Each one shows the courses the school teaches, the levels it runs, what its learners say and how to reach it. When the school looks right, open its admissions, choose the year and class you are applying to, fill in the form and save the applicant ID you are given. The how to apply page walks through the whole thing in order.

I run a school and I want Ekati for it

Start at plans and pricing. Three plans, one monthly price each, and a comparison table of every module included. When you have chosen, open the registration form: you create an administrator account, then fill a short wizard describing your school, its year, classes, subjects and fees. Ekati reviews it and creates your school.

What you can do signed out

Ekati is generous to visitors, on purpose. Nothing here needs installing either.

Read everything

Browsing the catalogue, opening a course page, reading its reviews, opening a school profile, comparing the plans, reading the news and contacting the team are all open. So is filling in an admission form and tracking an application with your applicant ID. If you are not sure whether Ekati is right for you, nothing has to be decided yet.

Where an account is needed

An account is needed in exactly three places: to buy a course, to join a free course, and to reach your own dashboard where your courses, your results and your payments live. Creating one takes a name, an email address and a password — see Accounts.

Both languages, everywhere

Every public page is written in English and French. The switch in the header changes the whole site, and each page falls back to the other language rather than showing an empty label, so you can read a course page in French and its price list in English without losing your way.

Questions about the Ekati website

What people ask before they take the first step.

  • Do I need an account to look at courses and schools?

No. The course catalogue, every course page with its description and reviews, every school profile, the price list and the news are all open to visitors. You only need an account to buy a course, to join a free course, or to see your own dashboard.

  • Do I need an account to apply to a school?

No. An admission form asks for your full name, an email address or a phone number and the questions the school has set. When you submit it you receive an applicant ID, and that ID is all you need to follow your file and answer any request for extra information. There is nothing to sign up for.

  • Is Ekati only for schools, or can I learn on my own?

Both. Schools publish their own courses on the catalogue, and many are free. Buy one or join it free, and it appears in your own course list behind your account, ready to work through at your own pace.

  • What do the plans on the pricing page cost?

Three plans, each billed monthly and each covering a whole institution: Basic at 5 000 XAF, Standard at 7 500 XAF and Premium at 10 000 XAF. Paying for six or twelve months at once reduces the price. The Plans and pricing page lists every module each plan includes.
