Learner portal: your schoolwork on Ekati
For students, pupils and their parents — the courses, the lessons, the work you are set and the marks you earn.
The learner portal is where you go once you are signed in: your courses, your lessons, your assignments, your timetable, your certificates and your results. It is the half of Ekati a student or a pupil uses, and it is deliberately the simplest half — no menus full of settings, just the things you need during a school day.
You reach it from the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and the same menus are there in all three. The list down the left side runs in the order you actually need things: what is happening today, what you are studying, what you have finished, what your teacher has set for you, when your classes are, and how you did.
Parents get the same portal with a child’s name on it, so a parent can follow the timetable, the fees and the marks of every child attached to the account. Learners and parents do not need separate sites, and nobody has to ask the school office for a second login.

Finding your way around the portal
The menu is the same everywhere. Learn its order once and the rest is quick.
The menu down the left side
Every screen in the learner portal hangs off the same list of names: Dashboard, My Courses, My Certificates, Assignments, Timetable, Results, Form B, Booklist, Library, Activity History, AI Credits and Notifications. Tap a name and that page opens. You never get lost, because the way back to the top is always the same tap.
On a phone the menu is one button
On a small screen the list collapses into a single menu button at the top. Tap it, tap the page you want, and the drawer closes behind you. Nothing is hidden — the same twelve names are there, they are simply stacked instead of sitting side by side.
The menu is trimmed to your role
You only see the pages that mean something for you. A school pupil sees the classroom pages. A university student sees the registration page as well, because their courses are chosen rather than assigned. A parent sees the pages for the children attached to the account. If a name is missing, it is because that part is not yours to use, not because something failed to load.
Where to go for each thing you need
Most days you only touch two or three of these pages.
I want to know what I am doing today
Open the Dashboard. It lists today’s classes with the time and the teacher, and it tells you in one line whether your fees are cleared. The full week is one tap away on the Timetable.
I want to study
Open My Courses and tap the course. Inside it you choose the lesson you want and read it — either slide by slide or as a page — then mark it complete so the next one opens.
I have work to hand in
Open Assignments. Each card carries its status, so you can see at a glance what is still to do, what is late, what you have already sent and what has come back marked.
I want to know how I did
Open Results for your own marks and your report card, and the class board beside it to see where you stand among your classmates.
I want proof I finished something
Open My Certificates. Every certificate you have earned is there with its serial code and a download button.
One family, one account, several people
Nobody has to share a password, and nobody loses their own view.
What a learner sees
The learner’s own name, the learner’s own courses, the learner’s own marks. It is the view of one student, and there is no setting anywhere that widens it.
What a parent sees
The parent’s portal shows one child at a time, chosen from a row of names at the top. Switch the child and the timetable, the fees and the results follow. A parent with four children at the same school reads four timetables without four accounts.
Where the family should ask
If a name you expect is missing from the menu, or a child is not on the parent account, it is the school office that adds both — not a screen in the portal. Ask them for the child’s name on the school record and they will attach it.
Learner portal questions
The things families ask in their first week.
-
Do I need a different account for school and for home?
No. A learner signs in with the account the school created, and a parent signs in with a parent account and sees the children attached to it. Nobody shares a password, and each person keeps their own view of the same school.
-
Why is a page missing from my menu?
The menu is trimmed to your role. A school pupil is not offered the university course registration page, because their courses are assigned rather than chosen. If a page you genuinely need is absent, ask the school office to check the role on your account.
-
Can I use Ekati on my phone?
Yes. Every page in this portal works on a phone, which matters because most learners read lessons on one. The menu collapses into a single button, the reading pages turn into one slide per screen, and you can swipe to move between slides.
-
Where do I start each morning?
On the Dashboard. It opens on today’s classes, tells you in one line whether your fees are cleared, and offers the few links you are likely to need. From there, My Courses takes you to the lesson you were last reading.
-
Can a parent follow several children?
Yes, once each child has been attached to the parent account by the school. The child’s name then appears as a button at the top of the parent’s pages, and switching it reloads the timetable, the fees and the results for that child.
