For parents: follow all your children from one account

One parent account, every child linked to it, and a single place for fees, receipts, results and progress.

A parent account does not study anything itself. It exists so that you can follow each of your children without asking them to report back, and without keeping a separate login for every one of them. When the school links a child to your account, that child’s school life appears in your portal as well as in theirs.

On a computer you see the same layout as a student: a sidebar on the left, your name at the bottom, and your children listed on the dashboard. What changes is the wording — where a student reads My courses, you read your children’s.

The children must be linked by the school. If the dashboard says no linked children were found, it is not a problem with your account: contact the school office and ask them to attach each child to your parent account, giving them your email address.

What a parent account can do

Six things worth knowing you can see.

  • Money

    Fees due

Every payment made against each child, with the date, the method, the amount and the status.

  • Keep

    Receipts to download

The receipt is a file on every payment line. Save it to your phone at the counter rather than losing it on the way home.

  • Marks

    Results

Marks per assessment, the average, the position in the class and the report card as a PDF.

  • Learn

    What they are learning

The courses they are registered for, how far through each one they are, and what is still to be done.

  • Buy

    The booklist

The official list of books for each child’s class, ready before the shops fill up.

  • Top up

    AI credits

Top up each child’s AI balance in one payment when the AI tutor runs out of credits.

Fees, receipts and switching between children

What the payments page gives you, and how to move between siblings.

One list, every payment

Open Payments and you get one table of everything paid for every child: the date, a reference number, the reason, the academic year, the method — cash, MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money or bank transfer — the amount, and the status the school has given it.

At the top, a row of buttons, one per child, plus All children. Press a name and the table narrows to that child; press All children and it comes back, with a Child column so you can still tell the rows apart. There is also a second row of buttons for the academic year, which is worth setting: it stops last year’s payments crowding this year’s.

The receipt is on the row

The last column of each line is the receipt. Press it and the PDF downloads or opens, showing what was paid, when and against what. Save it on the spot at the counter and you will never need to ask for a second copy; come back to the same page later and the link is still there.

Which child am I looking at?

Whenever a page can show more than one child, it starts by asking. Booklist, Timetable, Results and Payments all carry the same child selector, in the same place, with the same rule: what you pick stays selected while you look at the page. If your account is linked to one child only, the selector does not appear at all.

What each child is actually learning

Four pages that turn a vague idea of school into something concrete.

Courses and how far they have got

My courses lists what each child is registered for. Open a course and you see the modules and lessons, with a tick on everything already finished and a progress figure for the course as a whole. It is the fastest honest answer to “is she actually working on it?”

Marks, average and position

Results shows the mark for each assessment with its coefficient, the average for each subject, the general average and the position in the class. The report card downloads as a PDF, which is the document to keep and to send to anyone who asks how the term went.

Certificates when a course is finished

My certificates holds the attestations earned when a course or a programme is completed, each with a serial code. It stays empty until there is something to show, which is exactly how it should be.

Work that was handed in

Assignments shows what was set, what your child submitted and the status of each submission — including whether the teacher has published a correction. When a correction is published, the notification bell tells you before you remember to look.

Start from the dashboard

One screen that answers “is anything wrong today?” before you open anything else.

  • Overview

    Dashboard

Your children, what the school is waiting on, and the fees due, on one screen.

  • Plan

    Timetable

The week as it is actually taught, with the teacher, the room and the hour.

Parent questions

Asked by families who have just been given a parent account.

  • How do I get my children linked to my account?

Ask the school office. Only the school can attach a child to a parent account, because that is what gives you access to their marks and their fees. Give them your email address and your children’s names or matricule numbers. Once linked, each child appears on your dashboard and on every page that carries a child selector.

  • Where is the receipt for the fees I paid?

Open Payments, choose the child and the academic year, and press the receipt at the end of the relevant line. It is kept with the payment, so you can download it again as many times as you need — no need to ask the school for a second copy.

  • Can I see which books my child needs?

Yes. The booklist shows the official list for your child’s class, with the title, the author and the publisher of each book, and any file the school attached. Pick your child at the top of the page and the list follows.

  • Do I need my own AI credits?

No. A parent account does not use the AI features itself, so it holds no balance. On the AI credits page you tick each child, type how many credits they should get, and pay once for everybody — the credits land on each child’s own account.

  • Does my child see that I am following their results?

Following is one-way. Your child sees their own marks exactly as before and is not shown anything you have looked at. What they may notice is a notification arriving about a published result or a recorded payment, since those go to the family as well.
